Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday chaired the 16th session of the CM Grievance Hearing Programme, marking the first such hearing of 2026.
The programme, held at the dedicated cell in Unit-II, saw the Chief Minister

Accompanied by seven senior cabinet ministers
and top officials, Majhi began the session by meeting 30 people with
disabilities and chronic illnesses waiting outside the venue. He personally
listened to their concerns and directed officials to take immediate action to
address their issues.
Inside the grievance cell, the Chief Minister
addressed complaints registered under the single-window system and approved
medical assistance for several patients suffering from serious ailments.

today’s hearing, the government has received over 14,000 complaints. We are
addressing all cases on priority and ensuring they are resolved in record
time,” Majhi said.
The Chief Minister added that the initiative
has been instrumental in resolving long-pending issues, strengthening public
trust in governance, and ensuring timely redressal of citizens’ problems.
“We will continue to hold these grievance sessions regularly to maintain transparency
and efficiency,” he added.
